  • Proximal femur prosthesis, as the name implies is designed to replace the proximal portion of the femoral bone including the femoral head. The proximal femoral prosthesis designed by us not only replaces the femoral head but also any required length of the femoral bone.

  • This unique prosthesis mimics the physiological action of the distal part of the femoral bone and retains the functional aspects of the distal femoral bone along with the knee joint permits rotating movement 6º on either side.

    PROXIMAL TIBIAL PROSTHESIS WITH KNEE JOINT

  • Proximal tibial prosthesis is designed to replace the proximal tibial bone including the knee joint. It consists of a femoral stem, medium component with thrust pad, tibia head and shaft of tibia with tapering stem, pivot pin, collar bushes and screw. The femoral component seats in the proximal head and the tibial system replaces the salvaged proximal tibia bone. This acts as a pivot hinge and allows 140º movements dorsally. The condylar head contains a groove for patella in its anterior surface and femur stem angled at 6º according to the region.

  • The proximal tibial prosthesis with weight bearing poly pad mechanism is an endoprosthesis that is designed to replace the proximal part of the tibia bone. The tibial condylar head with shaft replaces the salvaged portion of the tibial bone along with the knee joint.

  • Intercalary prosthesis is, as they are called as additional or supplementary to other prosthesis designs, and are made to serve a simple basic function of a reconstructive device. The segmental defects of the bone that may need resection can be easily reconstructed with an intercalary prosthesis which resembles a spacer like device. The intercalary prosthesis can be customized to suit any segmental region without flexion.

  • The special system for the upper extremity offers the opportunity of a proximal humerus reconstruction. It is innovatively designed to reconstruct the proximal side of the humeral bone with shoulder head. It has a shoulder head, extension shaft with stem. The shoulder head is designed according to the patient’s actual glenoid cavity and the extension shaft is designed according to the humeral bone length and diameter upto the resection portion of the affected bone. The extension shaft has a stem that is fixed with the marrow of the intramedullary humeral bone.

  • A surgically implantable distal humeral prosthesis with elbow joint and oscillating mechanism replaces the distal part of the humerus along with the elbow joint. It resembles the anatomy of the condylar region of the distal humerus bone and retains the functional aspect of the distal part of humeral bone.

    PROXIMAL INTER PHALANGEAL JOINT PROSTHESIS

  • It consists of the shaft of the proximal phalanx with two short stem at each end fixed by screws to facilitate flexion and extension at the joints above and below. The lower stem is fixed into the middle phalanx and the upper one is fixed into the corresponding metacarpal.

  • The expandable proximal femoral prosthesis is mainly used for pediatric patients, where length of the femoral bone should be increased after surgery. The surgeon can increase the length of 6 to 10mm at a time, when required to meet the growing demands of the patients. The total length of the prosthesis can be expanded upto 120mm. The expandable proximal femoral prosthesis is unique and more advance than the commercially available hip joint prosthesis.

  • The special system for the upper extremity offers the opportunity of a proximal humerus reconstruction. It is innovatively designed to reconstruct the total humeral bone with shoulder head and elbow joint. It has a shoulder head, extension shaft, and distal humeral component. The shoulder head is designed according to the patient’s actual glenoid cavity and the extension shaft if designed according to the humeral bone length and diameter upto the resection portion of the affected bone. The distal humeral head with intermediate shaft, condylar head, oscillating components, proximal ulna stem provides a rotating movement of 0-50º which corresponds to rotary movements of the forearm and the hinge mechanism imparts articulating motion of the elbow joint. This prosthesis permits flexion movement of 0-1700 dorsally. Thus stimulating the normal movement of the elbow joint. The humeral shoulder head in anterior view with the elbow head in lateral view have an angle of 85º.
